Your area of responsibility:
- Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Perform consolidations for internal and external reporting
- Preparation and optimization of the management reporting, with a strong focus on sales controlling
- Prepare weekly sales reporting and facilitate sales call with the sales and management team
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and standards
- Participation in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Conducting budget controls and analysis to assist management in making financial decisions
- Implementation of target/actual comparisons and deviation analyses
- Preparation of detailed financial analyses to evaluate business development
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analyses for the management and other departments
- Support the introduction, development and optimization of reporting tools and processes (Netsuite)
- Identification and implementation of improvements in the existing controlling processes
That distinguishes you:
- Completed business studies with a focus on controlling, finance or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a manufacturing company
- Ideally experience in working in an international environment
- Good knowledge of accounting according to IFRS, HGB is a plus
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel; Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Sage, Oracle) is an advantage
- Knowledge in the preparation and analysis of financial reports
- Good analytical skills and a structured way of working
- High degree of initiative, reliability, and ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills and assertiveness
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, knowledge of German is a plus
